October 12th, 2015.
I woke up that day with a terrible headache. As I sat up I noticed a dizziness falling over me followed by a sense of nausea. This all together with the elevated body temperature were telling me I must’ve caught some sort of flu.
The past week had not been the most eventful. I had been given a school break, but yet tons of work haunted me. I’d hardly got a bit of sleep throughout the whole time.
As I put my feet to the floor I felt how the weakness washed over me and I started debating in my head if I would even make it to the door.
I put my left hand on the windowsill and my right hand on the side of the bed as I pushed myself up from my seat and with unstable legs gathered enough balance to stay relatively steadily in place.
“This won’t work out” I thought to myself as I felt my knees slowly give in to the weight of my body.
